As the firm principle and owner of Abco Colin has seen many changes in the financial services market place in the 34 years he has served the industry but believes the basics remain the same for longer life planning, Wealth & Tax, Mortgages, Protection and general planning for one's financial future. We listen, advise and normally we end up creating you as a client for life!

Colin feels incredibly proud to have been able to structure our team at Abco Financial Services. As a team Colin believes we continue to strive in providing first class advice and service that sadly seems to have been lost by some larger firms in a complicated and more technology influenced sector, personal service is paramount in Colin’s ethos and embraced by the whole team.

Colin is blessed with family, and has been married to Sarah for 27 years and has two grown children.

Colin enjoys all sports - mainly from the couch but football and golf are high on his agenda.

Andrew prides himself on being down to earth and plain speaking with his clients and believes in treating his clients as how he and his family would like to be treated with advice tailored to their needs.

Outside of work he looks forward to spending time in Norfolk and spending time with his grandchildren.

Steve has worked in financial services for over 40 years, 15 years with ABCO Financial Services, and Steve mainly deals with Pensions and Investments.

Alongside his financial services career Steve has also been an on-call Firefighter in his village for over 27 years, until his retirement from the service some 9 years ago. Steve also still serves the local community as a parish councillor.

Outside of work Steve helps his wife look after their 3-year-old grandson Isaac, so their daughter can do her accountancy work from home.

Mandy has worked within the Financial Service industry for the past 35 years, covering various roles as an Agent, Personal Assistant & currently as Office Manager. She joined the Abco family 2004.

Mandy has a passion for travel which is her inspiration for working so hard! She also likes to hunt out new walks to go on with her adorable dogs and anything involved around the Theatre, whether backstage, taking part or just sitting back enjoying a Musical!

Karen has worked for ABCO since 2019, joining the team as a Paraplanner after working in London as an Executive Assistant in the Defence Industry. She has over 20 years experience in Business Development, and is an integral part of the team and helping everyone to adapt to the new Consumer Duty regulation and in turn helping the team to achieve their goals and helping the business to grow.

She has a Masters in Public Relations and Communications Management and enjoys reading, writing, photography and Pilates. She has lived in Earls Colne for 15 years and is passionate about the village and local community.

Zoe is Andrew Gooch’s Paraplanner and has been working alongside Andrew for the last 5 years. 

Outside of work Zoe is enjoying being a new Mum to her 4 month old son and spending time with her husband and family

Tracey joined Abco in January 2019 having worked in Financial Services since 1996 for a small number of large practices which has given her a wealth of experience and knowledge.

Outside of work Tracey likes to keep fit by running, Open Water swimming and cycling and she is also an avid and passionate supporter of the local Ipswich Town Men’s and Ladies teams.

Lisa is our longest serving member within Abco clocking up 30 years. Lisa is instrumental in keeping the administration of clients policies in check and up to date with any changes.

Lisa enjoys spending time with her family and likes walking, swimming & cycling.
